Why Moeangiangi?

What makes us different

At Moeangiangi, we develop the next generation of agricultural leaders through a comprehensive two-year programme.

Cadets benefit from both intensive livestock finishing and traditional hill country farming experience. This creates a solid foundation for agricultural education that respects farming tradition while preparing students for contemporary industry demands.

The Moeangiangi Way

Living and learning on a working station, cadets experience the complete agricultural cycle, mastering everything from animal husbandry and agri-technology to life skills and leadership principles.

Through our mentorship approach, senior and junior cadets work together as teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual support that mirrors the cooperative spirit of successful farming operations.

By combining practical experience with solid theoretical knowledge, cadets study toward New Zealand Certificate qualifications while actively participating in every aspect of the farming cycle.
